PRODUCT INFO

CHANNEL PLATES IN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE (VAULTS)

WX-vaults are prefabricated floor components. They are used in applications needing large spans, heavy loads and/or low construction heights.
The underside is smooth and the sides are profiled. The nominal width is 1200 mm. The product range comprises the following widths: 120 mm, 165 mm, 200 mm, 265 mm, 320 mm and 400 mm.
The vaults are equipped with channels to limit the weight of these vaults.

Tables with acceptable safe lengths with non-pondered surload and contributing compression course with variable thickness can be requested.
Adaptions such as slots, insulation, fitting slabs and metal trimmer constructions are also carried out by us. More detailed technical data and tables can always be supplied should this be required.

BEAMS IN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE (three types)

•  Joists in prestressed concrete with variable heights (IV-beams)

IV-beams are used as roof beams, with the slope allowing for drainage. The variable heights caters for substantial savings on the material. These beams offer the most economical solution to span industrial buildings.

Detailed graphs and tables enabling a deduction of profile type can be requested, together with the different accessory components used with IV-beams.

•  Joists in prestressed concrete with fixed height (I-beams)

I-beams are used as roof beams. When used as a tie-beam they allow for an omission of pillars and thus create bigger free spaces. These beams can also be used as layer beams. In this case they are mainly used for large spans with heavy overload.

Detailed graphs and tables enabling a deduction of profile type can be requested, together with the different accessory components used with I-beams. We also manufacture variants on the I-beams such as roof purlins on request.

•  Rectangular beams in prestressed concrete (BX-beams)
Beams in prestressed concrete are used when the free space underneath the beam is essential. BX-beams with a height that is larger than the width are especially used as roof purlins. BX-beams with a smaller height compared to the width are mainly used as layer beams. BX beams can also be equipped with wait brackets allowing for second-phase concrete.

Detailed graphs and tables enabling a deduction of profile type and specific calculations can be requested, together with the different accessory components which can be used with our BX-beams.
